Continuous Professional Development

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is a form of recertification and is required for our accredited mediators and arbitrators to renew their membership status. HKMAAC's accredited mediators and arbitrators must meet the renewal standard of 5 CPD hours every year. They are required to retain and provide such records and supporting documentary evidence upon request from HKMAAC. These records should be kept for a minimum of three years.

Objectives

To maintain, deepen and extend professional competence and technical knowledge;

To keep track with the development of mediation and arbitration industry;

To acquire the updated knowledge of the trend in field of mediation and arbitration; and

To support accredited mediators and arbitrators in keeping the professional knowledge up to date.
